If you missed the second session in our 2024 undergraduate event series, which is free and open to all, you can catch up on the talk by Professor Simon Lightfoot and Dr Christopher Featherstone by watching the recording below.

This session takes you through the process of planning, researching, drafting and writing a Politics/IR essay. The session starts with practical advice on how to interpret/break down the question and how to develop and signpost your argument. It then moves on to researching the topic, smart reading, and note-taking before guiding you through some tips on essay structure, drafting and responding to feedback.
