Nominee Statement: I am currently a Lecturer in International Studies at the University of Birmingham. I previously worked as a lecturer at Leicester, and received my PhD from the LSE. I have been involved in BISA for several years through the US Foreign Policy working group, of which I am now co-convenor, and was founding editor of Argentia, the working group’s magazine. I would like the opportunity to serve on the executive because I believe an active, energetic BISA has a key role to play in enhancing the discipline’s future and in giving a national voice to IR/IS scholars in the UK.
