BISA will offer 10 free student packages to attend the 2011 Conference at Manchester Conference Centre. No monies will change hands – BISA will directly meet the costs of the Conference Day delegate rates which includes refreshments, conference attendance and registration. BISA will pay upto £100.00 towards accomodation costs upon provision of receipts. The student will meet their own travel costs to and from the conference. The expectation is that awards will be to students presenting papers and it is a condition of the award that papers are submitted by the conference deadline. Applications should be made by 25 February 2011 with the following information: 1 Student Name and institution/ email contact 2 Confirmation of current BISA membership 3 200 word account of your research 4 Are you in receipt of any grants? If so, describe them 5 Title of paper 6 50 word paper abstract 7 Any other role(s) that will you play in the conference 8 200 word statement from your supervisor as to the value of the conference to you 9 Electronic Signature and Dated by the supervisor 10 Electronic Signature and Dated by the applicant Late applications will be disqualified; no applicant may be supported for more than two conference awards; no single institution may have more than five awards.
