Welcome to the Postgraduate pages of the British International Studies Association (BISA) website. Postgraduates play an important role in the BISA community, making up a substantial part of our total membership. We aim to encourage all postgraduates to get involved in the activities of the association from working with our numerous working groups, to presenting at our annual conference, to offering us ideas and suggestions to improve our association’s work.

We also offer a range of postgraduate funding opportunities to our members such as the Conference Bursaries and Founders Fund, further funding is available through the Working Groups.

I, James A. Malcolm, am your representative on the BISA executive. I am a postgraduate researcher at the University of Warwick and it is my responsibility to represent your views to the officers of the association and keep you updated on the decisions that are made. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me. Over the coming months we will be expanding the content on these postgraduates pages and doing our utmost to make your membership of BISA even more worthwhile.
