On 29 September 2021 the Africa and International Studies Working Group partnered with the University of Dundee’s Politics and International Relations Department, and Dundee Africa Research Network (DARN), to organise a special international lecture on the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice delivered by the Right Honourable Mojeed Alabi, former member of the Nigerian National Assembly, former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, and former Deputy Chair of the House of Representative’s Committee on Human Rights. Here you can watch the event back at your leisure.

Right Honourable Alabi is Professor of Political Science and Adjunct Professor of Public International Law at Osun State University in the South Western region of Nigeria. The event was chaired by Professor Kurt Mills of the Politics and International Relations Department of the University of Dundee. The discussant was Dr Peter Brett of Queen Mary University of London, who is also the co-convenor of the Africa and International Studies Working Group.

The event was well attended. Special thanks to Dele Kogbe, co-convenor of the working group, for putting such a fascinating event together.
