Call for papers: BISA 2027 annual conference

Dear BISA ISMMEA members:

We hope you have had a great start to the new academic year!

This is just to remind you that BISA 2027 is now open for submissions, the deadline is 6 November at 11.59pm (UK time).

Next year's conference will take place from 30 June to 2 July 2027, under the theme Fragmenting orders, shared futures: Global politics in turbulent times.

Following the success of this year's conference, we look forward to receiving exciting paper, panel and roundtable proposals engaging with Mediterranean, Middle East and East Asia, including questions of security, political economy, international relations and regional transformations.

You can find the call for papers and submit your proposals here.

Please note the change in conference dates!

Best wishes,
