Astropolitics
To join a working group you must first join BISA.
The Astropolitics Working Group brings together scholars working on the politics of outer space. In this nascent field, we support, develop, and enrich research in studying the international politics of space from the multitude of approaches within International Studies. Key issues in this working group concern the development and governance of outer space, the use of space for military and intelligence purposes, what humanity’s entry into space means for international and political theory on Earth, in orbit, and beyond. All perspectives and approaches regarding the political dimensions of outer space and space technology are welcome.
