Research informed teaching: integrating your scholarship into student learning?
Join the Global Politics and Development Working Group for a practical and participatory discussion on research-informed teaching. Together, we will explore how research can enrich curricula, support inclusive learning, strengthen students’ critical and analytical skills, and create links beyond the classroom. Drawing on concrete teaching examples, the session will consider practical ways to integrate research into teaching, alongside challenges such as workload, accessibility, confidence and concerns about self-promotion. The event will be especially useful for early career researchers and those working in teaching-intensive universities, although colleagues at all career stages and from all institutions are warmly welcome to join the discussion.
Registration will close two hours before the event begins.
