Country allocations drawn for BISA/FCDO Model NATO 2026

We are pleased to announce the participating universities for our seventh flagship Model NATO event, run jointly with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). We also reveal the NATO allies they will be representing. 

Academic lead and former BISA President, Professor Mark Webber (University of Birmingham), conducted the draw using an online picker tool to ensure impartiality.

This year’s event will be held at the FCDO in London on Wednesday 26 February 2026. At the beginning of the day, students will receive some virtual hints and tips from representatives of the UK delegation to NATO, explaining how to get the most out of their experience. The day will close with a reception, which will also be attended by some current Civil Service Fast Stream representatives, providing an opportunity for students to network and ask questions about careers within the civil service.
