This workshop explores two different perspectives on the article publishing process to help you get your work into journals. We first examine the perspective of the editor/reviewer to see what they're looking for. We then take the perspective of the author, unpacking the process of submitting work, then reading and responding to reviewer comments. Taken together, this workshop aims to give you a ‘behind the scenes look’ at publishing and demystify the process. While some material will relate to publishing critical work specifically, it is open to everyone.
The publication process has a hidden curriculum and, as critical scholars, it is important to us to ensure that this is made visible. To best reach participants, we have co-organised this with the Postgraduate Network.
