Navigating academia in times of (permanent) crisis: Publishing, job applications, post-doc funding and research time

This event will be in London, UK.
-

This year’s IPEG Annual Workshop will start with an event entirely devoted to early career researchers (ECRs), including PhD candidates. This panel discussion will revolve around the challenges that ECRs face, from publications to post-doc funding, from applying for jobs to carving out research time while in a teaching-intensive position.

The panel will include the following speakers:

  • Professor Juanita Elias (University of Warwick)
  • Dr Russell Foster (King’s College London)
  • Dr Malte Laub (University of Sheffield)
  • Dr Inga Rademacher (City, University of London)
  • Professor Magnus Ryner (King’s College London)

We encourage ECRs working in the field of IPE to register for this event even if they may not be able to attend the general IPEG workshop. ECRs who have already registered for the IPEG Annual Workshop do not need to register again for this event.

Lunch will be provided at the end of the panel discussion and the ensuing Q&A.
