As well as excellence in research and professional applications of social science, the new Fellows, who are drawn from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines and professions, have also made significant contributions beyond academia, including in industry, policy and higher education.

“All seven recipients have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to the Social Sciences and in particular International Studies. Recognising that BISA played a part in the recognition of many of them through the nominations we put forward each year is an honour for the Association.”
